    am heutigen Abend, Donnerstag, den 18.02.2016, werden wir in der Zeit zwischen 21:00 Uhr und 09:00 Uhr des folgenden Tages dringende, interne Wartungsarbeiten durchführen.

    Das Wirtssystem wird mit dem aktuellen Softwarestand versehen. Die Konfiguration des Servers selbst wird dadurch nicht verändert.

    WICHTIG!: Eine kürzlich bekannt gewordene Sicherheitslücke im Linux-Paket glibc macht diese Wartung dringend erforderlich.

    Das Wirtssystem und somit auch der Server werden im Rahmen der Wartung neu gestartet.

    Selbstverständlich werden wir die Ausfallzeit des Servers während der Wartungsarbeiten so gering wie möglich gestalten.

    Die gesamten Kalkulationen und Limits (HP und Co) werden korregiert. Die eAthena Berechnungen waren schon immer custom, dies wird auf den offiziellen Stand (pre-RE) angepasst.
    Das schließt unter anderem ein, dass Homus danach Crit-Schaden machen können, wie es gewollt ist. Leider sind bestehende Homus von der neuen Berechnung unbetroffen, sodass ein Wipe der Homus unumgänglich ist.
    Das Spiel hatten wir auf dem Mainserver vor einiger Zeit auch schon. Da der OS damals aber nicht wirklich aktiv war, wurde das Update hier nicht ausgeführt.

    • *Rearranged the SC status ID's.
      -This rids all the wasted ID's which bring the SC_MAX down by around 400.
      -It also sets a bunch of the status's to be treated as common status.
    • *Added support for NPC's in the 10000 ID range.
      -Officially this 3rd NPC ID range goes from 10000 - 19999, but the range will be capped at 11000 to save on memory usage. Thats 1000 ID's for official and custom NPC's.
    • *Rebuilt the map cache.
    • *Fixed a issue where NPC's would not stay hidden when hidden.
      -They would reappear on client refresh or re-entering the view radius.
      -The server will no longer send any info about the existence of these hidden NPC's since its pointless to do so. Its hidden and the client doesn't need to know this. Its also one less packet to send.
    • *Fixed a issue where using the skill Change Cart didn't update the look of the cart properly after selecting.
    • *Reworked part of the code for the pc_setcart function to work a little more efficent.
    • *Format for the skill_cast_db.txt is changed back to its original format.
      -Also replaced the file with a new copy from eAthena. This fixes a number of issues with the skills like removing fixed casts and cooldowns that should of never been in there. Also kept the names and details for things used in the past to better recognize groups of skills.
    • *ITEMID entrys are now set in a enum table.
      -Felt it was time for something clean since a lot of items ID's are now being checked in the source. Its much better keeping track of items by name then by ID's.

    Server:

    • *Fixed issues with clones that can cause the server to crash.
      -The crash happens when a clones uses certain 3rd job or other newer skills that checks for one's job level, clones (monsters) don't have one.
      -Now a fake job level of 50 is given.
    • *Did some code cleanup.
    • *Finished up the dressing room and body style features.
      -With this update, the features are now complete and are fully usable. The update also comes with a custom NPC script that makes full use of the systems.
      -Currently this feature is not supported by our Client, so it will remain disabled.

      -jRO is the first server to use the system and currently only supports 2 styles at the moment.

      -According to 3ceam revision 764 clients from 2013-12-23 on can deal with bigger packets.
      -3ceam uses 65636 as maximum, so we'll use it as default value. Thanks to Rytech!

    Hey!

    Pünktlich zu Weihnachten kann ich die Fertigstellung der neuen Homepage verkünden. Wie einige bereits gesehen haben werden, ist auch bereits der Umstieg erfolgt.
    Hier und da sind noch Kleinigkeiten zu tun, auch gibt es noch einige Pläne die in meinem Kopf und/oder auf meiner ToDo-List herumstehen, trotzdem ist die Homepage an sich in vollem Umfang einsatzbereit und fertig.

    Mit dem Umstieg erwartet euch nun:

    • ein komplett neues, überarbeitetes und mit Grafiken versehenes Design
    • eine Seite, die mit aktuellen Sicherheitsstandards wie MySQLi & SQL-Injection-Protection, sowie anderen "Spielereien" um Angreifern auf die Nerven zu gehen ausgestattet ist
    • eine Seite, die (wie auch zuvor) komplett auf Flash, Java und Co verzichtet, dafür in PHP 5.x, xHTML 1.1 und CSS 3 handgeschrieben ist
    • eine Seite, die extrem auf geringe Ladezeiten und somit hohe Performence ausgelegt ist
    • nie wieder nerviges hinterherspionieren sozialer Netzwerke, sämtlicher Facebook-Content läd sich erst nach ausdrücklicher Aktivierung und nur für eine Sitzung


    Ich wünsche euch mit der neuen Homepage viel Spaß beim erkunden und nutzen. Natürlich sind Anregungen und Vorschläge gerne willkommen!
