Applications
Frost Diver is a disabling skill, since Frozen status stops any monsters immediately. From this point, it is possible to cast a high-damage skill without fearing retaliation from the monster (unless it breaks free). Since a monster turns into Water element after being frozen, it is most liable to Wind attacks such as Lightning Bolt.
Undead and Boss monsters cannot be frozen but can still be damaged by Frost Diver. If a mage decides to become a Wizard, the skill Storm Gust can replace the need of Frost Diver for mobs. The other disabling skill, Stone Curse, is also an option.
Notes
- Target's Magic Defense affects the chance of being frozen, as well as the duration of the frozen status.
- Enemies frozen by Frost Diver skill become Water property (level 1) regardless of their original property.
- Frost Diver will not freeze Boss or Undead monsters.
