Overview

In Malangdo, there is an NPC Mayomayo (/navi malangdo 213/167) who can add enchantments (similar to Mora Enchants and Biolab Enchants) to many Level 3 and 4 weapons in exchange for Malangdo coins. The kind of coin used determines the types of enchantments available. Machines near Mayomayo will convert between the various types of coins, as well as allow conversion of Silvervine Fruit from the Reward Shop to A Class Coins. Seagod's Anger, one step above the A Class Coin, cannot be obtained in this way.

Each weapon has a Cost Multiplier, and a coin class requires a different number of coins to enchant (the Base Cost). The number of coins needed is the multiplication of both of them. For example, putting an E Class enchantment (Base Cost 15) on a Hurricane Fury (Cost Multiplier 4) would require 60 E Class Coin (15 × 4).

  • The enchantments on a weapon can be reset using 1 Silvervine Fruit.
  • There is no chance of failure; an enchant will always be given, though some are better than others.
  • Cards and refines are not lost.
  • You must have the weapon equipped before speaking to the NPC in order to enchant the weapon or reset the enchantments on the weapon.
  • If using A Class Coins or Seagod's Anger, the player may select one of 3 types of enchants: Melee, Ranged or Magic.
  • If a weapon has 3 card slots, only one Malangdo enchantment is possible (This has been tested and verified).

Enchanting Costs (by coin type)

Coin Type Base Cost
Seagod's Anger 1
A Class Coin 2
B Class Coin 3
C Class Coin 6
D Class Coin 10
E Class Coin 15

Conversion of Coins

10 coins of one type can be exchanged for 26~29 coins of one type lower, or 30 coins can be exchanged for 7~9 coins of one type higher. 10 Silvervine Fruit can be exchanged for 26~29 A Class Coins (the reverse cannot be done).

When obtaining coins from the iRO Cash Shop Silvervine Fruit, and assuming average luck, the following table provides enchant statistics and costs for a weapon cost multiplier of 1.

Coin Type Quantity Cost per (KP) Available attempts Cost per enchant attempt (KP)
Silvervine Fruit 10 10 - -
A Class Coin 28 3.57 14 7.14
B Class Coin 78 1.28 26 3.85
C Class Coin 220 0.455 36.7 2.72
D Class Coin 615 0.162 61.5 1.63
E Class Coin 1720 0.058 114.7 0.87

The following table provides average exchange rates when attempting higher class enchants from E Class coins.

Desired Coin Type Quantity Cost per (E Class coins) Cost per attempt (E Class coins)
E Class Coin 1580 1 15
D Class Coin 422 3.75 37.5
C Class Coin 112 14 84.4
B Class Coin 30 53 159
A Class Coin 8 197 396

List of Enchantable Weapons & Multipliers

The Cost Multiplier is multiplied against the coin class' Base Cost for enchanting. It is not the number of A Class Coins used; A Class Coins have a Base Cost of 2, so it requires double the multiplier.
